EPISODE 4:
A Wild Ride

As B.B. slowly opens his eyes, he’s greeted by the flapping of a beach umbrella above him. The sun feels warm on his fur, and he can hear the waves crashing nearby. Suddenly, a loud roar fills the air, and B.B. looks up to see a huge metal bird soaring overhead. He jumps to his feet and starts to follow the trail of fluffy white clouds it leaves behind.

As B.B. walks along, he reaches a tall fence and finds a hole to wiggle through. He heads towards one of the shiny metal birds, feeling his heart beat with excitement. Peeking inside, he sees a man wearing a fancy hat, busily flipping switches. Moving quickly, B.B. scurries to the back and climbs into a seat. There, he notices a peculiar piece of blue fabric with a metal thing at the end. Studying a picture in front of him, he learns how to click the metal part together and pull it snug.

B.B. watches as the man in front talks into a little black box. He calls this metal bird, a “plane.” Another voice calls back, saying “clear,” before the plane roars loudly and starts to rumble. It shoots forward and B.B. feels a funny tickle in his belly as it lifts off the ground. Slowly, everything below gets smaller and smaller until he is surrounded by nothing but the sky.

The plane’s gentle shake rocks B.B. to sleep, and when he wakes up, he looks out the window to see a new kind of beach below. This one was filled with tall rocks and spiky trees poking out of the sand. He heard the man mention something about the grand crayon… or canyon… or something like that. As the plane lowers, B.B. sees a beautiful neon forest, glowing with colorful lights. It was like nothing he had ever seen before!

After a loud screech, the plane slows down, and B.B. leaps into a bag with wheels. B.B. stays hidden until he hears a cheerful jingle, followed by a loud shriek. Curious, he peeks out to see what is happening. There ia a human standing in front of a machine with the numbers 7-7-7. She looks very happy, jumping up and down, as a bunch of golden circles pour out of the tall box.

Even though he’s never been here before, B.B. knows exactly where he is. His Grandsquatch, Timber, shared stories about a land called Las Vegas—a magical place where yetis could wander without scaring anyone. Only a brave few had journeyed out of the woods and into this glowing city, but once they did, they found a safe home among the humans.

With his Grandsquatch’s spirit guiding him, B.B. bravely crawls out of the bag. As he starts exploring, B.B. sees lots of interesting creatures:

A beautiful, graceful bird whose body sparkles in the light.  Her headpiece adorn with feathers that cascade down her back like a majestic tail.

There is a man with black, slicked-back hair in a rhinestone jumpsuit kicking at the air. A bunch of people call him “The King,” so B.B. figures he must be the human in charge of Las Vegas.

B.B. watches humans fly through the air doing flips and tricks like real life superheroes!

Further down the path he encounters a human painted in shimmering gold from head to toe, standing perfectly still and silent. B.B. stares in fascination as the gold man only breaks his pose to offer a wink or a mischievous smile.

There was another crowd cheering up ahead. They gathered around a human in a tall black hat. Every time she says “Abracadabra!”, sparks fly from the tip of the stick she is holding, making colorful flashes and small bursts of confetti erupt!

Overwhelmed by all the sights, B.B. starts following his nose toward a sweet scent! He approaches a cart filled with pink fluffy clouds on a stick, brown bubbly liquid flowing from a spout, twisted pieces of bread with those white crystals on top, and bags of white puffs drenched in a golden syrup.

B.B. approaches the human behind the cart with a friendly smile and his eyes pointing at the food. The worker acknowledges his presence but warns that if he doesn’t have any money, he can’t get any food. Just as B.B. was about to turn away, the happy woman he saw collecting all of the golden coins offers to buy his snacks and treats for everyone in line!

As he eats and drinks, he feels a surge of energy like never before! He can’t keep up with his own feet and accidentally stumbles into a human dressed up as a dinosaur. The dinosaur didn’t notice, as he was busy hugging other humans and shouting “cheeeeese!”

B.B. gets back on his feet and makes his way toward a towering building. When he steps inside, it feels like stepping into a forest! There are tall trees reaching up to the ceiling, and lots of green plants everywhere. There is even a river flowing through it!

B.B. notices out of the corner of his eye, some shiny metal doors. He approaches and hears a soft “ding” as they open. B.B. hesitates for just a moment before stepping inside. He chooses the button at the top and feels a gentle rumble beneath his feet as it begins to rise. When the doors finally open again, it reveals a breathtaking view of the city below. It was completely dark outside now, but he can see a gigantic crystal ball glowing in the center of the city. It was a sight more magical than he ever dreamed!

B.B. understood why Las Vegas was so special to the yetis who made it here. It was a place where everyone’s differences were not just okay, but celebrated! Now, B.B. faces a big challenge: how could he show others that living together peacefully is possible?

B.B. realizes that to truly make a difference, he needs to find the most important person in charge—not The King, but The President of the United States. Long ago, the President had been a friend to the yetis, working together to protect the forests and make sure all creatures were safe. But as time passed, humans and yetis drifted apart, misunderstandings arose, and fear replaced friendship.

With determination in his heart, B.B. sets out on a journey to Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States.
