Episode 46:
Baby Bigfoot Goes to the Foot Doctor

Baby Bigfoot was stomping around the 7 mountains when he smelled a smell. He didn’t know what smell the smell was, but he knew he smelled a very smelly smell.

The smell smelled of when Papa Sasquatch left meat over the fire for a long time, and it became crunchy.

“MMM…mmmm,” Baby Bigfoot says to himself while thinking that he could really go for one of those.

So he began to follow his nose through the wooded forests on the foothills of the 7 mountains.

After about 20 minutes of walking, he could see what he suspected: Humans!

Of course, after all the great adventures he has had with humans recently, he immediately went to see what was going on and to see if he could maybe get any of that fantastic black crunchy meat he could smell.

B.B. began to run. He then broke through the tree line into the human zone with the grass on the ground by their hut.

The first thing B.B. saw was the source of the smell.

Big black plumes of smoke were emerging from this black metal thing that was on top of a bunch of square dead tree parts that was connected to the house.

A woman human slid open a big glass door and said to the man human by the black plumes of smoke, “Nice Job burning the meat again, Jim.”

BAM! *(water balloon SFX, verbalize BAM)*

B.B. didn’t know what hit him, but he knew something just hit him, and he knew he was wet.

Then B.B. heard the laughter of human kids.

B.B. realizes this must have been a joke being played on him because of how happy all the other kids were.

Then B.B. saw one of the kids pick up a semi-clear, but also somehow orange, ball that jiggled a little when it moved.

Then the kid whipped it right into the face of the unsuspecting kid right next to him. *(water balloon SFX)*

Then all the kids picked up a balloon as fast as they could and ran away from each other.

They yell together, “Water Fight!”

B.B. saw one balloon still sitting on the ground where all the other balloons were sitting, and he decided to follow the human kid’s lead. As fast as he could, B.B. picked up a water balloon and ran to the nearest place where he thought he might not get hit by another one of the water balloons.

He thought to himself, “I could hide behind the smoke,” so he ran as fast as he could to take cover from the water balloons.

He was just about to get behind the black smoke, and right at that moment…

BAM!

He instantly felt wet all over his fur.

B.B. knew what happened and stopped running.

Right when he stopped running, his foot didn’t stop with the rest of him for the tiniest of moments.

Instantly, B.B. felt a very sharp pinpoint of pain in his foot.

B.B., unable to talk, knew he needed to tell the humans about the pain in his foot, so B.B. began to grunt and moan.

An adult human goes over to take a look.

*(Marissa narrates, Perry to voice the quotes of Adult Human/cartoonish “AHHH!”)*

The adult human screams,

“AHHH! What is this thing!?!?”

This does nothing to calm B.B. down at all.

B.B.’s moans get louder, the adult’s screaming gets louder. *(Perry to voice SFX of cartoonish “AHHH!”)*

Then a person that was attending the Bar B Que, wearing a Pilot Uniform, approaches and says, “Thats Baby Bigfoot! That little guy’s ok in my book. I taught him how to fly a plane a few weeks ago, actually.”

The screaming adult then stops screaming and says, “That thing can fly a plane…” “…also that’s Baby Bigfoot?!?”

The pilot nods and says, “B.B. understands plenty, but he doesn’t know how to ‘speak human’ yet.”

B.B. then points at his foot while looking at the Pilot.

The Pilot says, “I think he is trying to tell us there is something wrong with his foot.”

B.B. nods in agreement.

The Pilot asks, “Is there a doctor around here?”

The other adult says, “Yeah, actually there’s a foot doctor about 10 minutes from here.”

The Pilot says, “I can do that in less than 1 minute,” and the Pilot picks up B.B. and hops into his plane that was on the other side of the human hut that also conveniently has a grass airplane runway.

57 seconds later, B.B. and the pilot land at the Foot Doctor’s airplane runway that the foot doctor has in the field next to his office.

“We’re here!” exclaimed the Pilot.

B.B. can see a big sign that says, “Dr. Regular-Foot: for a better tomorrow.”

The pilot plomps B.B. down on a chair in the waiting room, and the Pilot checks B.B. in.

Luckily for B.B., the foot doctor near the 7 mountains does so well at his job that almost nobody has foot problems in the area, so there were no lines and no waiting for B.B.

B.B. was brought to the exam room. He then sat down on the exam table.

B.B. waited on the exam table in an empty room for what felt like an eternity. *(SFX of clock ticking.)*

An hour and a half later, Dr. Regular-Foot entered the exam room to check on B.B.

“Im Dr. Regular-Foot, I hear your having a problem with your foot.”

B.B. nods and points to his right foot.

Dr. Regular-Foot takes a good look at the foot.

Dr. Regular-Foot says, “Ahh, looks like you have a wood splinter. Also, this foot looks like its been stomping around the forest with no shoes. Let’s get that cleaned up for you.”

B.B. gives a sigh of relief *(SFX small sigh)* since he knows this human figured out what was wrong.

A nurse brings in a rolling table with a bunch of tools on it. *(SFX rolling table.)*

The Doctor picks up a pair of tweezers so clean and shiny they glimmer in the light. *(Quick SFX of tuning fork, symbolic of shine.)*

The doctor takes B.B.’s foot and takes the tweezers and pulls the wood splinter from B.B.’s foot. *(SFX: explore a suction with final pop sound, cartoonish, maybe slide whistle with a little pop at the end.)*

The doctor shows B.B. this tiny piece of wood that was lodged in his foot.

The doctor says, “Your doing great, B.B. We have the splinter removed, and now we are going to give you a Medi Pedi to clean up everything else.”

As the doctor fires up this spinning disc with a handle that has a vacuum hose connected to it, B.B. can see all the colors of the rainbow coming off his feet, with beautiful vibrant greens, wonderful oranges, and even some lovely purples. *(SFX spinning machinery and vacuum combo.)*

“WOW!” B.B. thought. “How pretty all the colors are that are coming off of my foot.”

The Doctor tells B.B., “You see all those colors coming off your foot there? That’s grime and fungus, which is basically mushrooms that have been growing there.”

B.B. thought to himself, “Well, that’s way grosser than how pretty the colors seemed.”

Doctor Regular-Foot says to B.B., “Since you’re a sasquatch, we don’t make shoes to fit your feet, but I recommend you come back every three months to keep up with them.”

B.B. nodded, and the doctor handed him a card with a date 3 months away for him to come back.

B.B. met the Pilot in the waiting room. The pilot asked, “All set?” B.B. nods. They both walk to the airplane still parked on the runway in the field next to the office.

With a roar, the engine starts up again, and this time, with B.B. in the pilot’s seat since he is no longer in pain.

B.B. sets the coordinates for the 7 mountains. Then B.B. and the pilot fly away into the sunset, prepared for his next adventure, knowing his baby big feet will be taken care of.
